Hi there, I am Lyanna, a BCM 212 student. I am conducting a research project about 'How do university students build genuine friendships?' as apart of the course's assignment.
As an international student in Australia, I've always been curious about how students make friends here because I think there might be some minor variations between the methods used in Malaysia, where I'm from, and here. I'm interested in learning about other viewpoints from various backgrounds because it will help with my research assignment. I would love to hear about your experiences if you are a student and want to learn more!
Thanks to your insights, this survey will help me gain a deeper understanding of the common experiences, challenges, and components that go into forging strong social ties at university. It should take five to ten minutes to finish.
Other than that!
I am looking for two international and two local students within the BCM 212 cohort to participate in my one-to-one interview. The purpose of the interview is to explore more in-depth of my research project besides my survey which will include more personalised questions that aim to give a deeper understanding. The session should only take about 10 to 15 minutes. Please note that you won't be named in both the survey and interview and if you have a change of mind to your survey responses, I will remove them via my email below.
If you wish to participate in the interview session or have any questions or would like to know more about the research, feel free to contact me at [ lyanna.works2@gmail.com ]
